"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
- Carl R. Rogers

Life can often feel heavy, leaving us feeling isolated, unseen, or stuck in place. Therapy provides a dedicated space to help you break free from patterns that no longer serve you and reconnect with your true self. At Foothills Family Wellness, I offer a safe, compassionate environment where you can feel heard and begin moving forward with confidence.
About
Foothills Family Wellness
Therapy is not a one-size fits all activity, and I believe that the role of a clinician is to match client needs with eclectic interventions. In my practice, I utilize many different evidenced-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Circle of Security Parenting (COSP), Theraplay, mindfulness training, mediation, and more.

Jeff Leichtman
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, LAC
I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, attachment struggles, addiction, tensions arising within couples and families, and ADHD and school performance issues. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages.
I recognize the very real value of therapy and am personally fulfilled seeing others reclaim something they have lost, or perhaps discover something not yet found. I am genuinely passionate about the work. I have been practicing in the field since 2011 and opened my private practice in Evergreen in 2023.

Client Testimonials
Jeff is my favorite therapist I've worked with, he carries genuine empathy and is a joy to talk with. He's helped me so much through the ups and downs of life. And he brings his dog!!
CM (M, 20)
"Working with Jeff has been truly transformative for me. I started therapy thinking that I was just going to work on my big "T" trauma, but he has guided me through processing all the little 't' traumas as well. I was initially skeptical about EMDR, but it turned out to be surprisingly more effective and healing than I ever could have imagined. Plus, having his dog, Juno, in the office instantly brings down my nerves and anxiety every time I walk through the door. I am so grateful for this safe space and cannot recommend Jeff enough."
CZ (F, 43)
"I am so grateful to have found Jeff. He has been an incredible therapist for both me and my boys. His warmth, knowledge, and genuine care make me feel truly heard and supported, and he consistently goes above and beyond. And of course, Juno is an integral part of the experience; her presence brings an extra layer of comfort and connection. We feel very lucky to have found them both!
